Consumers for Smart Solar Statement on the Florida Supreme Court Approving its Ballot Language

Orlando, Fla. – Consumers for Smart Solar – a diverse, bipartisan coalition of business, civic and faith leaders – today issued the following statement attributed to its co-chair, Dick Batchelor, regarding the Florida Supreme Court approving its amendment language for the 2016 General Election ballot.

“We are pleased that the Supreme Court will allow the people of Florida to have a voice on our amendment to advance solar energy in the Sunshine State.

“We look forward to making our case to the people of Florida – that we must advance solar energy – and do it the right way – a way that protects all consumers, whether they choose solar or not.”
